Collection from visits to the Global Supply Chain Solutions websites

Global Supply Chain Solutions has ongoing access to statistical data about visitors to its website. It is not possible to identify individual persons based on this data.
When you visit the Global Supply Chain Solutions website, the following information is collected about you:

  • Which pages you view and when – your “electronic tracks”,
  • the browser you are using,
  • your IP address, and
  • your username, if you have one.

When you browse the internet, you leave behind an “electronic track” that reveals where you have been. This track is generated by your browser sending information to a server, e.g. “I would like to see the page corresponding to the address”.
Most browsers give information about their brand and version number, e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7.0. The server can then return the page you requested so that it is displayed correctly in your browser.
When your browser requests, it also sends additional data to the server in question, including your IP address (your “address” on the internet). The server then knows where to send the page you requested.
Depending on the operating system and the browser you use, the browser often also sends your username to the server – the username you use when you log on to your machine.
Registration of personal data and personally identifiable data are necessary in order to be able to analyze how the users utilize Global Supply Chain Solutions’s website in Matomo.
Global Supply Chain Solutions does not collect personally identifiable data concerning customers from third party.
Global Supply Chain Solutions uses Matomo and LinkedIn Pixels for the collection of user statistics and in that connection discloses IP addresses to Matomo and LinkedIn.
